School of Saint Elizabeth Halloween Parade Information

Dear Parents,

On Thursday, Oct. 31st students are to come to school in their school uniforms. Our Halloween parade will take place from 2:30 to 2:50. Students will be allowed to change into their costumes right before the parade. Our students and teachers will then walk from the upper field to the rectory via Seney Drive for Father John’s review of our “Trick or Treaters”. Students will return to their classrooms to get ready for dismissal at 2:50. Parents who wish to pick up their children following the parade must sign them out and pick them up at the office as per the usual early dismissal procedure.

FOR THE SAFETY OF STUDENTS WITH ALLERGIES, FOOD TREATS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN SCHOOL.  PLEASE DO NOT SEND IN ANY FOOD TREATS TO SCHOOL.

In closing, I am appealing to your sense of taste, decorum, and sound judgment when choosing your child’s costume. We would like our students to have costumes that are appropriate for a school setting. I believe costumes that display body dismemberment and excessive blood and gore would be inappropriate. Costumes with weapons as accessories are also not appropriate for school. If you have any questions regarding the Halloween Parade and/or costume suitability, please feel free to contact me at school.

Thank you for your continued cooperation and support.

Very truly yours,

William T. Venezia
